Join us as we meet criminal psychologist Dr Julia Shaw to discuss her latest investigation and book, Green Crime. Dr Shaw will take us deep into some of the worst environmental crimes of our time. She’ll reconstruct the minds of the perpetrators in cases like the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the Dieselgate emissions scandal, and the Shuidong wildlife crime syndicate.
How do the Earth's killers think? What makes their crimes so deadly? And how can we stop them from stealing our future?
Environmental destruction is not just a tragedy. It is a crime. Unless we confront the perpetrators, we all risk the death penalty.
The event will end with an audience Q&A and then stick around for drinks and debriefing.
