  • How do I become a member?

  • I just booked a ticket for an event but the venue listed doesn’t include the exact address.

    • Don’t worry, you’ll be sent the exact location in the pre-event email 24 hours before the event. If you haven’t received this, check your junk and then let us know here.

  • How many guests can I bring to an event as a member?

    • Members can bring up to three guests to any event at the members price. We sometimes restrict this for very popular dinners and members outings but we’ll include this in the event description.

  • Can I take pictures and post about events?

    • Mostly yes, although members dinners are Chatham House rules. If you are unsure, ask one of the Trouble team.

  • Will there be a recording of the event if I can’t watch live?

    • Yes, all Trouble events except dinners and members trips are recorded and we’ll send through a link to the full recording in the days following the event. This will be accessible to all members and all live and virtual ticket holders.

  • What’s the members password and is it the same as my account password?

    • The members password and your account password are different. The members password is a password that all Trouble members use to access the members areas on our website. If you are asked for a password and the page has images in the background that change every few seconds, you are being asked for the members password. If you are asked for an email and a password together, usually at the checkout page, then the password you need to use here is your account password, which you set when you became a member.

  • Where can I find the members password?

    • You will have been sent the members password in your welcome email once your membership was confirmed. Don’t worry if you’ve forgotton it, email us here and we’ll send it through.

  • How do I reset my personal password?

  • I’m not a woman, am I welcome at Trouble events and can I become a member?

    • Absolutely! Our membership and events are open to all genders, only our speakers are exclusively women.

  • As a member, how do I book my monthly free ticket?

    • Great question, simply click here to get the code. Every member can use the code 12 times per year.

  • Can I use my monthly free ticket for any Trouble event?

    • We limit the number of events that are eligible for free tickets because of limited capacity at certain events or extras included with the ticket such as food and drink.

  • Do you offer refunds on tickets or exchanges for free monthly tickets?

    • Unless we change the details of an event we can’t offer refunds on tickets or exchanges for monthly free tickets.

  • Do I enter into a contract when becoming a member?

    • Our membership is contract free. You can start at any time, cancel at any time and we can also pause your membership if you want to take a break.

  • How do I cancel my membership?

    • While we’re sad to see you go, we know circumstances change. You can cancel your membership at anytime by clicking here.

  • Do you offer refunds on membership?

    • We don’t offer refunds on membership fees. Cancel your membership at least 48 hours ahead of renewal to avoid being signed up for another year.
