Networking Drinks from 6.30pm. Complimentary drinks for the first 20 arrivals.
Cherie Blair grew up in Merseyside in a working class family lead by a single mum. Inspired by a strong sense of justice, she climbed to the top of the British legal system and became the first British Prime Minister's wife to have a serious career.
Cherie created the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women in 2008 to support women in low and middle income countries to start, sustain and grow successful businesses so that they can be financially independent, have a stronger voice in their societies, and contribute to their communities and economies.
A leading member of the King’s Counsel, Cherie will join us to discuss her extraordinary career, her commitment to women’s rights and why mentorship and guidance are as important as money when it comes to empowering the next generation of leaders.
