7pm Mon 29th April, Darjeeling Express, Kingly Court
SOLD OUT ALREADY - SORRY!
Trouble is delighted to invite members to dinner with chef and restaurateur Asma Khan at her Carnaby Street restaurant Darjeeling Express.
The first British chef on hit Netflix series A Chef’s Table, Asma came to the cooking profession via a career in law. While studying for a PhD in British Constitutional Law, she set up a Mughlai supper club in her home in Kensington, inviting a group of Indian women who worked locally as nannies. A successful pop-up followed, and she now oversees a busy central London restaurant staffed by an all-female team of chefs, many of whom had never previously worked in a professional kitchen.
Asma will be talking to us about her experiences in both the legal and culinary worlds, as well as the Indian elections, taking place in April and May.
