Untroubled: Our relationship to darkness with Tiffany Francis-Baker

7.00 pm, Monday 4th November, Mortimer House

One for the night-owls and nightjars amongst you: a talk about what happens after dark with Tiffany Francis-Baker. No, not like that. Drawing on her recent book Dark Skies, Francis-Baker will talk about humans and darkness and the folklore, science, geography and literature of our nocturnal habits as shaped by nature. Tiffany Francis-Baker is also a writer-in-Residence for Forestry England’s centenary project so expect Joy and her to start talking trees too.
