At a press conference on International Women's Day, Theresa May was lambasted for taking just one question from a female reporter on the floor, May shot back: “They were all answered by a woman prime minister.” She has championed women in politics by appointing more women to her cabinet than any of her predecessors, led on anti-FGM measures and brought in coercive control orders. But she has also allowed the indefinite detention of pregnant asylum seekers and struck a deal with the anti-abortion DUP. Is May a feminist in T-Shirt only?

Joining us to argue it out is Nimco Ali, anti-FGM campaigner and Five Foundation boss, and Catherine Mayer, co-founder of the Women’s Equality Party. No sitting back in this debate - you will all be required to take sides.
